About Me

I was born and raised in Northwest Indiana, and the rest sounds like any author’s page. I went off to college, married, had kids…yada, yada, and yada.

When Indiana doesn’t resemble a frozen tundra, the spousal unit and I like to fish. It’s quiet. There’s no technology involved and the cellphone does not come with us.

I tend to rip into my house, deconstructing then constructing chunks of it at a time. My daughter likes to tease me about it. “Mom went to change a light bulb and gutted the kitchen.” She’s not that far off, actually.

My pets are dwindling. I’m down to one dog and one cat…though I do see a new puppy in our future. We can’t help ourselves…we love dogs.

I use ellipses entirely too frequently.

I drink large amounts of coffee, despite the Mitral Valve Prolapse and regurgitating valve. But hey… I like coffee and you only live once.

I’m a fan of vulgarity.

I’m also the living definition of irony.

I’m a fantastic cook and often get into baking frenzies.

I used to blog a lot more but I’ve run out of ideas. So now I sort of suck at it. But I am still writing books which is probably infinitely more important.
