I love you. Three little words which made Chris Caldwell run as hard and as fast as he could from any woman. Love had nothing to do with his desires; he had plenty of women wanting to share his bed for a night of wild abandon. Until Isabella…
She turned his world upside-down with her sexy body and sultry smile. Chris originally thought to just make her the next of his conquests. Instead she turned him upside down and in love for the first time. She made him want the trappings of love and maybe even marriage. Something he has never desired in his life.
But as Chris goes to bring in yet another shipment for the drug lords, his family is betrayed. Will he make it home to his beautiful woman or will the Feds finally take him down in a fiery blaze?

Just a taste of Nemesis...

Seeming to not take ‘no’ for an answer, she stepped into the shower. As I turned around to face her, she wrapped her arms around my neck, pressing her hot smooth body against mine. She opened her mouth and covered mine with her tender red lips as her warm, wet tongue started dancing back and forth deep inside my mouth. Who did I think I was kidding? I can’t seem to help myself when this beautiful woman is involved. She had gone to such great lengths to deceive me just for the chance to have sex with me. I cupped her ass with one hand as I fondled her firm breasts with the other. My god, she’s so damn hot I can barely hold on to her. The shower stall was small and I pushed her against the wall, letting the hot water spray on my back. She put her hand behind my head to bring my mouth closer to hers. We groped each other like savage beasts; our lips remained in a passionate kiss which seemed like it could last forever. I swear, I’ve been with a few women, but never have I felt this animalistic desire to want to fuck another woman as much as I wanted her. I couldn’t wait another moment, needing to have her right now. So I picked her up, with our lips still locked in a passionate kiss, carrying her off to my bedroom. As I laid her wet body on my bed, she let go of me long enough for me to find the harden nipples of her breasts with my mouth. She started moaning as I sucked on each one and then buried my face between the soft mounds of her beautiful breasts, her hands pulling at my hair. I took hold of her hands and held them above her head as I ravished her body with kisses, biting my way up her neck and finally stopped on her succulent, sizzling, hot lips. She took my lower lip in her teeth and then sucked my tongue into to her mouth for a long passionate, wet kiss. “Oh god Chris, I want you inside of me. Please take me now!” she said, breathing heavily against my mouth. She lifted her knees and spread her legs to give me access. I thought about taking her right then and there; fucking her hard and fast, but the sight of her legs spread along with the beauty of that small patch of blonde hair fashioned in the shape of a heart, beckoned my tongue like a magnet to the soft moist lips protecting her womanhood. I buried my tongue deep inside until I found her sweet spot, and as I tortured her clit with my tongue, she grabbed me by my hair holding me tight against her.

Book Two and Chris is back, along with his love for beautiful women and his insatiable sexual appetite. Amber and Megan still can’t pin him down to just one of them and there are others trying to get his attention. He wants to go to school, learn a trade, and be successful but he soon finds out that he can’t outrun his secrets.
The crime family looks him up, leaning heavily on old relationships and Chris doesn’t want to see that debt hung on either his brother, Frank, or his brother, Tony. Chris agrees to fulfill this one job, with the assurance it will be the last. And can he walk away from Amber or Megan? He knows he can’t tell them the truth. He is torn with the knowledge this could keep him from ever finding a woman he could love, who could accept this part of him.

A little something about Jc Black

JcBlack-BioPic

J.C Black was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in the Florida Keys. I grew up in the ship building trade and became an expert in my field at a young age and made me very popular in the boating industry. I grew up in a time that the local fisherman were losing their homes and boats so they turned to smuggling to make a living. A lot of the people were friends of mine before they chose a life of crime and remained my friends for many years after, until the law caught up with them and put them in prison. I’ve been writing on and off for the last couple of years, but writing romance came from my love of women. Yes, it was a good life with the coconut trees, the great sandy white beaches and of course the beautiful women. I still get inspiration from the beautiful women and the sunsets. I love taking long walks on the beach, riding my Harley and enjoying life. I loved growing up in the Florida Keys, it was like paradise. Beautiful sunsets to inspire my life and beautiful women to inspire my writing. I love fast cars and fast boats and sometimes I would enjoy a race or two. I loved the sea and would spend as much of my time as I could I out in the ocean fishing, but of course that was at a time you could come home with a cooler full of fish. I didn’t know what I wanted to do when I was younger, but I had the whole Caribbean to explore so it didn’t matter back then. If you ever find yourself down my way, I will be the guy leaning against a coconut tree on the beach, watching another beautiful sunset and if I happen to say “hi” don’t be shy.

News

Dear Friends, Family & Fans,

It’s time to make an announcement. You all know I’m an author (clearly.) I have been self-published and traditionally published. I’ve published both as Kim Mullican and for the last few family members that don’t know (unlikely since my family loves to talk,) I publish erotic content as Anita Cox. I haven’t really kept it a secret but since I tend not to enjoy talking about myself, there is a slight chance some of you did not know. I digress.

The publishing world is ever-changing. There has been so much news and drama about the business, it’s become white noise for some. There are a few publishers behaving badly. I’m not referring to any one publisher, but authors talk. I can tell you, there are a lot of unhappy authors out there. There are a ton of complaints, most of which I’m not going to spend time talking about. But I did listen. I did take note. For fans…some of your authors aren’t getting paid, getting paid on time or getting accurate reporting of the books they have sold. There has been abuse that would just make you shake your damned head.

I fumed on this for awhile. It’s been over a year of private conversations with my colleagues, mostly as Anita Cox, about these issues. I’ve chatted with some really fantastic writers  who are, or have considered, running away and never writing another word. I just…I couldn’t watch it happen.

So instead of sitting here pissed off, I decided to do something about it. I found a private investor who isn’t in the publishing business (and he wishes to remain anonymous.) I assembled a small but dedicated team and I formed Syn Publishing, LLC.  (You can find out everything we at Syn stand for by visiting the website.)

My small, but dedicated team, has agreed to work for peanuts until Syn is off the ground. Syn has received offers from editors and cover artists to donate their time and talent because they have also grown fed up with what’s going on and they want to help. They can see that our desire is to give authors a higher royalty split, to earn the money that the house receives and to support their authors, to advance their careers and to have a mutually beneficial relationship. Because Syn has policies in place to spend a portion of its share of royalties advertising for our authors. Why? Because when they grow, we grow. Because we plan on tending to our garden, so it can be as fruitful as possible.

I spent a ton of time in the service industry. I had no idea that the skills I learned while carting around hot plates, wiping up spills, taking customer complaints etc. would serve me in this business. It may have been, ahem, decades ago, but I learned then that happy employees / partners, create happy customers. Treating people with simple human decency and respect seems like it should be common sense. Alas, common sense isn’t so common anymore.

This long blog post serves as a warning to those that know me. This industry is brutal. Someone will try to smear me eventually. Someone will say that my time as Vice President of a trucking company doesn’t qualify me to run a house. (Which is why I have people to cover the areas where I’m weak.) I’m sure they’ll dig up whatever they can. Quite frankly, I hope they do. You haven’t really made it until someone tries to take you out. I took a proactive step in this situation. I contacted some of the bloggers (even some not so pleasant ones) and sent them the contract and an offer to give them any information they’d like. Syn IS totally transparent. So I must be as well.

So dear friends and family, tighten your bootstraps. This is going to be one hell of a ride.

How many hats can one girl wear?

Oh boy! I haven’t blogged here since February? Eegads. I’m fired.

As I’ve said before, I do write under another name as well and it’s taking up a bunch of my time… like all of it.  So here’s what’s going on:

All 3 Dirty White Candy books (me as Anita Cox) have now been released by the publisher. I’ve been marketing my ass off, pushing those books (and neglecting my other work.)

I host the Erotic Author’s Panel once a month. It’s a town-hall type meeting where fans can chat live their favorite erotica authors.  We utilized the Google Hangout platform but it… sort of sucks. So we’re moving to AnyMeeting to see if that works better.

I’ve been given the title of Director over at the Erotic Author’s Guild. So now, I’m over there blogging and helping other authors because my altruistic nature DOESN’T KNOW WHEN TO QUIT.

Also, I’ve joined up with a few other authors for marketing events.

Oh yeah, and I did a book tour. Money – not – well spent.

Marketing in the new paradigm is like a giant hemorrhoid.  It’s hard to stick out with so many authors/books available. It’s probably my least favorite part of the job, next to editing. No one likes a salesman. No one. No one likes a pest who plasters buy links to their books all over every social media platform either.

All I want to do is just…write.  Yep, that’s it. I just want to write. I need a house elf to do the rest. For free, or food.

On a positive note, I started writing again. I’m 9k words into the next novel. I would be farther but…see above.

Review / Interview with Laura Cooper

After reading 50 Shades of Garbage, I decided to seek out a good adult novel.  I’d never really been into reading mommy porn, but I could see the lure 50 Shades had on folks.

While perusing through what was available and downloading several freebies, I ran across Author Laura Cooper.  Both she and her husband write in the erotica genre.  Laura decided to grant me an interview as well.

Laura’s book, SEMPER FI, was such a good read I couldn’t stop until I finished.  Her characters were likeable, relatable and she writes very good steamy scenes.  I found myself hot under the collar a few times.  I highly recommend diving into what Laura has to offer in this genre.  I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Please help me welcome Author Laura Cooper.

Laura:  Thank you!  It’s a pleasure being here with you.

Kim:  The pleasure is all mine.  So tell my readers a bit more about you.

Laura:  I’m a stay at home mom who has just gotten our last child out of the house and off to college.  For the first time it has allowed my husband and I an opportunity to enjoy the peace and solitude of an empty house.  No more crazy kids bolting through our locked bedroom door with every kind of emergency known to man.

Kim:  So how did you go about writing erotica for the first time?  What made you pursue the genre?

Laura:  I was sitting around reading on my new Nook in January of 2011.  I mentioned to my husband that the best thing about it was that I could read anything I wanted and no one would know.  So, I downloaded an erotic book and it gave him the idea to write one himself.  I thought he was nuts.  In fact, I was a little mad when he wrote and published his first book.  But as the series took off, I thought, “why not?”

Kim:  I noticed that both you and your husband write erotica.  Does that help the heat at home?

Laura:  We’ve always had sort of a special relationship.  We are a blended family (children from previous relationships), and so when we met we sort of dispensed with the usual “getting to know you” crap and just sort of let it all hang out.  We are very open and honest about our feelings and desires, and quite frankly that has brought us closer as a couple.  So our “Heat,” has always been set pretty high!

Kim: Tell us about SEMPER FI.

Laura:  We were sitting around watching Fox News when Sandy hit the north east.  Being from South Carolina, we are no strangers to hurricanes.  I made a comment that without power and television, they’d probably have a lot of babies born in about 9 months.  It got me thinking about being stuck in a storm, or stuck in an airport, or something like that.  Perhaps even a sexy public scene would be cool.  Also, my husband is a former Marine, so I based his character sort of on him.  So, I sat down and started free writing, and voila!

Kim:  I was pleasantly surprised to find myself laughing out loud when I read parts of your book.  I really didn’t expect that in an erotica novel.

Laura:  Well, I find humor in so many things we do on a daily basis, so why not include it.  Some of the stuff just seems funny to me.  Perhaps it’s my warped sense of humor that makes it through in my writing.

Kim:  How many books do you have out?  Where can we find them?

Laura:  We have something like 38, 39 or so.  We probably have about 75 that are sitting around on our computers.  We are just sort of slow at putting them out.

Kim:  Thank you for your time Laura.  I really enjoyed your book.  Where can others buy it?

We are published on Smashwords, All Romance Ebooks, Ibookstore, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Diesel, Sony Reader, and probably some others that I’m not aware of.  Stop by my blog http://laurabcooper.blogspot.com or email me at lbcooper123@gmail.com for more information!
