My first interview – ever!

The lovely Paula from Community Bookstop has received my novel and is going to write a review.  I anxiously await her review (and I am a bit nervous!)  You can read my interview on her blog.

We writers depend on our book reviews.  So for my non-writerly folk, they really can help (and also damage) an author’s rep and book sales.  These fine folks do this for free.  They spend the time to read the entire book (even if it’s shit,) and post a detailed review.  For an Indie author they are a most valuable ally (if you didn’t write shit.)

Can you detect a little nervousness here?  I’ve received positive feedback from a few who have bought the book, but a book reviewer… that’s something else entirely.

So, check out Paula’s site.  She has reviews and such on her blog.

For now, I’m going back to nail biting.

  1. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone! 94391

  2. Fascinating blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your design. Thanks a lot 130141
